Australia - ACCC Releases Scam Activity Report

Losses to scams reported to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission totaller $70 million (AUD) during 2009. These are the findings of a new report on scam activity released by the ACCC as a part of the Australasian 2010 fraud prevention campaign which also highlights the importance of international cooperation to disrupt scams and educate consumers.
