Turkey - the Consumer Complaint Information System

In the early January 2010, test broadcasting of the Consumer Complaint Information System - CCIS started. After the launch of the CCIS, the consumers can make their complaints to the Arbitration Committees (ACs) online. 1,000 copies of a guideline for the introduction of the CCIS were published in the mid-January. The guideline is also published on the webportal www.tuketici.gov.tr.

The training of the reporters of ACs, which are located in districts, will be continued in February and March.

The CCIS is to be launched in the second half of the 2010.
