Awareness Campaign on Environmental Advertising Messages for Businesses
June 2025:
The Misleading Environmental Claims working group has produced a campaign on environmental advertising messages. This campaign is directed at businesses and consists of a set of recommendations for conducting marketing campaigns for products and services with environmental attributes. Accordingly, it outlines six core principles, each of which is further developed and explained through a series of basic tips, based on the 6 Rules of Thumb that have been drafted within the Working Group.
