Generally, each country participating in ICPEN is represented by one national governmental organisation responsible for the promotion and enforcement of fair trading practices (though there are a few exceptions).
Each member is expected to deliver an annual report and take part in at least three of the following ICPEN’s activities annually:
- a network conference;
- Internet Sweep;
- Fraud Prevention Month;
- another of the betwork’s projects;
- handling of cross-border complaints.
Before an agency becomes a member, it participates in the Network’s activities for 2 years as a partner organisation.
For more information on the requirements to apply for membership please contact the ICPEN Secretariat at .
